He grew up fishing from the James River down to the beaches of Virginia and North Carolina. With a love for the coastal environment, Dave has spent his life studying marine science and applying that knowledge to his passion for fishing.

For 10 years, Dave has competed in inshore tournaments with some of the best anglers in the country. His competitive side combined with his thirst for knowledge has put together a consistent and successful tournament resume. Topping the list are tournament wins including 1st place in the Carolina Redfish Series Championship event, 1st place in the Carolina Redfish Series 2014 season opener and 1st place in the 2014 CCA Inside-Out tournament with 10 more top five finishes!

Outside of tournaments, Dave enjoys sharing those amazing moments in fishing, like a topwater strike from a redfish or long fought battle with a cobia, with his friends and family!
